Biography
Lara Giliberto was born in Milan, Italy, in 1981 where she majored in Fashion&Design.
Her interest in photography was further kindled during her many travels until she eventually decided to devote her life and creativity to this versatile and fulfilling art form.
She had the incredible luck of learning directly on the field, working with many big photographers moving from Milan to New York and then Paris, where she decided to settle down.
She shot for magazines such as L’Officiel Hommes, Le Monde d’Hermes, Marie Claire, Air France Magazine, Common&Sense, Metal, The Greatest Magazine, Sport&Style, Duel, Mixte and among her clients we can count Alaia, Loewe, Cos, Nike, Claudie Pierlot, Chloé, Lacoste, Elie Saab, Nina Ricci, Bottega Veneta.
Her work has also been exhibited at the Triennale Museum in Milan and at the Showstudio gallery in London.
Between fashion and portrait, her work stands intimate and calm. The tension towards a strong and precise gaze creates a visual universe that balances technique and sensuality.
